This Privacy Policy describes how NIROVA (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the NIROVA Striker game and the nirova.xyz website (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Who We Are

NIROVA is an independent game development project operating the Telegram Bot “NIROVA Striker” (@NirovaStriker1Bot) and the website nirova.xyz. The project is currently operated by an individual developer based in Germany.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the game:

Telegram User ID — a numeric identifier provided by Telegram when you interact with the bot. We use this to identify your account within the game.
Telegram Username / First Name — used to display your name on the leaderboard.
Gameplay Data — number of shots taken, goals scored, points earned, streak count, and daily activity. This data is stored on our servers to maintain your progress.
Wallet Address (optional) — if you choose to connect a Solana wallet to claim rewards, your public wallet address is stored. We never ask for private keys or seed phrases.
Referral Data — if you invite friends, we store which users were referred by you to calculate referral rewards.

We do not collect: passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, location data, or any biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data exclusively to:

Operate and maintain the game and your player account
Display your score on the public leaderboard
Calculate and distribute $NIRV utility token rewards within the game
Process referral bonuses
Prevent abuse, cheating, and fraud
Improve the Service based on gameplay statistics

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data on the following legal bases:

Contract performance — processing your Telegram ID and gameplay data is necessary to provide the game service you requested.
Legitimate interests — fraud prevention and security measures.
Consent — for optional features such as wallet connection.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on a secure server hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, located in Germany (EU). Hetzner is GDPR-compliant.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet-based service can guarantee 100% security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.

6. Leaderboard and Public Information

Your Telegram username and point score may be displayed publicly on the in-game leaderboard (Top 10). If you do not wish your username to appear publicly, please do not use a real name as your Telegram username, or contact us to request removal.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with the following third-party platforms:

Telegram — the platform through which the bot is delivered. Telegram’s own Privacy Policy applies to your use of their platform: telegram.org/privacy
Solana Blockchain — if you connect a wallet, your public wallet address and any on-chain transactions are permanently recorded on the public Solana blockchain. This is inherent to blockchain technology and outside our control.
Hetzner Online GmbH — our hosting provider. Data is processed within the EU.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
Right to restriction — request that we limit how we use your data
Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via Telegram: t.me/Nirovacoin. We will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Germany, this is the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI).

🗑️ Delete My Account

You can permanently delete your NIROVA account and all associated data directly from within the game — no email required.

How to delete your account:

Open NIROVA Striker via @NirovaStriker1Bot
Go to the Rewards section
Scroll down and tap “Delete My Account”
Confirm the deletion

Alternatively, send the command /deleteaccount directly to the bot in Telegram chat.

Upon deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:

Your Telegram User ID and username
All gameplay data (points, goals, streaks, daily progress)
Your connected wallet address (if any)
Your referral data

Please note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Any accumulated $NIRV points will be lost. On-chain blockchain data cannot be deleted as it is inherent to the public blockchain.

Deletion is processed immediately. If you experience any issues, contact us via Telegram: t.me/Nirovacoin.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice in the Telegram channel or on the website. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
